Beginning this Monday, February 16th, there will be several changes to the bus schedules. All these changes are based on resident feedback and ridership data and are aimed at creating a more efficient and reliable transportation experience.

DAYTIME CHANGES

ROUTE 1

Beginning February 16th, route 1 will operate entirely within the village, bringing it in line with the other internal routes. By keeping Route 1 exclusively inside CVE, buses will be able to run on a consistent 30-minute schedule.

EAST BUS, MONDAYS, WEDNESDAY, & FRIDAYS

In addition, access to popular destinations is being changed. Beginning February 16th, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the East Bus will now stop at Century Plaza instead of Latin Plaza. Ridership data shows Century Plaza is a primary destination for many residents, and this adjustment will provide more direct and convenient service for shopping, dining, and everyday errands.

EAST BUS, SATURDAYS

Weekend service is also being optimized. Beginning on February 21st, the Saturday East Bus will replace its stop at Walgreens on Powerline and Hillsboro with a stop at Century Plaza, reflecting higher demand at that location. Residents who need to visit Walgreens may still use the nearby location next to the Publix on Military Trail.

EVENING CHANGES

NON-SHOW NIGHTS

Beginning February 16th, on non-show nights, all internal routes (1-5) will end at 7:30pm. Beginning at 7:30pm, new Twilight Bus Service will begin. The Twilight route will depart the Clubhouse at 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9:30pm. It will cover all stops inside the village.

SHOW NIGHTS

On show nights, all internal routes (1-5) will continue every 30 minutes until 11:00pm as they have in the past.

PUBLIX EXPRESS BUS SERVICE

The Publix Express Bus (providing express service to Publix and JD Farms) now runs Tuesday - Saturday (previously it has run Monday - Friday). The times will remain 11:00am - 4:00pm.
