Security

Security is a top priority at Century Village East. It is led by CVE Security Director Leif Herman.

CVE Master Management pays a third party to provide security services to the Village.  These security guards are responsible for access control at the gates, and roving patrols in the village.

Village security officers are not first responders.  In the event of an emergency, 9-1-1 should be notified.  Village security's role in an emergency is solely to observe and report.

Security Office

The Security Office is located inside the Main Gate at 2060 West Hillsboro Blvd. The Security Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. 

Gates

Guards are posted at each gate to ensure that no one enters the Village without proper authorization. All residents must possess proper identification to enter the Village and visitors must be called in by a resident through the Main Gate, i.e. relatives, friends, repair people, food deliveries, taxi/limousine service. Proper identification is a state-issued drivers license.  Passports and copies of licenses will not be accepted.

Bar Codes

Vehicle bar codes are available in person at the CVE Management Office between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm Monday through Friday weather permitting.  Please call ahead before arriving. You are required to show a permanent CVE ID and vehicle registration.

Visitor Phone-in

Residents have the option of calling our automated access line to register a guest for Village entry. The number for the automated line is 833-773-0808.

Clubhouse

Security is also posted at each door of the Clubhouse to ensure that only residents and their guests enter the building. Security has two “Rovers” patrolling around the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to observe and address security concerns within the Village.

Safety Tips for Residents

We also recommend all residents observe reasonable caution, such as always locking the car, never leaving valuables visible, securing your doors and windows when the condo is vacant, and never opening the door to unknown persons. It is recommended that if you see someone acting suspicious, walking around, looking in windows or trying doors you call 911 first, then call security.
