Due to a tree removal on West Drive, West Drive will be closed in both directions from Newport Drive to just before the West Gate, 8:00am until approximately 12:00pm Monday, January 12.
Traffic will be detoured onto Prescott Drive.
The West Gate will remain open during the removal. Entering traffic will be diverted onto Prescott Drive just inside the gate. Westbound traffic will be diverted onto Prescott Drive at North Drive.
PLEASE NOTE ONLY LOCAL NEWPORT TRAFFIC SHOULD PROCEED ON WEST DRIVE, WEST OF NORTH DRIVE.
If you are driving in the area, please SLOW DOWN and use caution when driving along Prescott Drive. If you are walking or biking along Prescott Drive, please be advised there will be heavier than usual traffic.
