Beginning this Sunday, October 26th, Broward County Transit will launch new Sunday service for the Route #48 bus — marking the first time this route will operate seven days a week.

This means Village residents can now take the Route #48 bus on Sundays to the beach and all the other regular stops it serves. The BCT #48 bus stop will continue to be at the Clubhouse.

Because the County will now provide Sunday service to the beach from the Village, the Village’s own Sunday Beach Bus will be discontinued. The last Sunday service for the Village Beach Bus will be October 26th.

This change allows the Village to redirect resources used for the Sunday Beach Bus toward meeting other transportation needs within the Village.
