Coral Springs Parkland CERT hosts a live one hour webinar to educate the public on life saving strategies and describe FREE training available prior to each CERT Basic Training Academy. The next live webinar is May 31, 2025.
High School students age 14 and older will be eligbile to earns service hours for taking the Basic Training Academy.
The areas of training include:
- Disaster Preparedness
- Fire Safety
- CERT Organization
- Disaster Medical Operations
- Light Search and Rescue
- Disaster psychology
- Terrorism
- Triage
On demand learning will be complimented by in person training from 8AM -12PM on:

Graduates will have the opportunity to join the team after satisfying the prerequisites.
